The 7th Panzer Division's losses during the break-through of the Maginot Line extension (on the 16th May) are given in the division's official history as 35 killed and 59 wounded.

In the division's sector the prisoners taken were approximately 10,000 men, together with 100 tanks, 30 armoured cars and 27 guns. The account concludes, "The division had no time to collect large numbers of prisoners and equipment".
