When i did my S1 i used to walk through redfern everyday cause i did my S1 at sydney uni. Hardly any indo's at that uni. And all the aboriginals used to say ' got a dolla mate, please spare us a dolla mate' but aslong as you didnt cause trouble during the day you where fine. If you decided to make a scene you'd be sorry, and dont even think about walking around there at night, that would be suicide heheheheh.

At the moment im doing my S2 at UNSW indo's everywhere big difference! all the places to eat.

I dont know .... bush has done every illegal thing in the book and got away with it. I dislike Bush as much as evryone..

but when you were faced with option like kerry or Bush..
Most ppl chose to vote for Bush because he has better domestic policy than Kerry. At least he didnt increase the tax.. and that's good news for the average income earner in america.
bottom line is,.. it's difficult to choose between dumb and dumber!

It is true choosing between dumb and dumber is hard but there is a point where dumber is more dangerous and i think bush is extremely dangerous.

Take a look at the economic situation before and after bush in all the states and area's he has been leader and see if as a result of bush's leadership the situation in that particular area has gone from better to worse, an example look at texas, the state of the environment the economy etc.

I also read, though i cant confirm that bush's IQ is the lowest of all the presidents (bordering on 100), i mean true you cant use this as a judge but its a good estimation. I mean i see it, in the way he talks in the way he presents himself, he uses emotion and old methods of woooing up a crowd instead of using logical explanations. If you look at his speaches when he speaks about WAR about winning, about america he does not stutter or loose his words, but if he has to talk about compasion you see that he looses his words and needs time to think, try to notice it, if thats any sign it shows what kind of person he is deep down.

He is one of the only presidents to NOT have written a paper or achieved something great during his time in university where he ONLY ever achieved a masters. If you look at bill clinton and may of the other presidents they had released papers or done commendable things on various topics , none of this from bush.

I dont know, i just dont like his attitude i guess, his gung-ho attitute, the, dont listen to anyone attitute, its attacking and destroying a foreign country for godness sakes, not bashing the local kid up the road, there are alot of consequences.

You know for any other country i would accept it, its their choice so be it i wouldnt even give it a second thought, but if only american policy stayed within america, if that where the case who cares, for all i care the president of say china (picking another super country here) can be anyone the chinese people wish, because they dont force these policies on anyone else, they dont attack and defy other nations and do as they please, but america do, thats why the decisions that are made on who is american president matter to more then just americans.

Exactly, thats why its such a shame that one country can be that strong and the leader of that country can effect everyone, remeber almost everything on the news that effects the middle east, the wars are a result of what happens in america and the long standing issues between america and the middle east.

But like i said before Bush plays on the emotions of people and i must say he is smart in that sense .... anyway i hope things dont get worse then they already are ....

Could you imagine what would happen if america was attacked again whether its at a foreign embassy or on american soil, its scarey to think what bush is capable of doing to that offending country.

Its a saying which means he has done everything that isnt by the book, that isnt by the rules but seems to always get away with it.

Something i always find weird is when people strart dressing like the music they like, you know when people start listening to rap they start dressing all gansta, when people listen to japanese music they start dying their hair and making it spikey like goku from dragon ballz hehehe, its just weird i reckon, its only music.

I think there are lots of chinese who still hold the grudge againts Japs..
I remembered my friend told me this story while I was in China. These groups of Japs were trying to catch a cab from the college to the Silk Market, rite.. they hailed a cab.. told the driver where they wanted to go.. but for some reason the driver asked them..
"Are you guys Japanese?" .. they said yeah..
Next thing they know, the cab driver kicked them out of the cab & started to swear at them.. :D

Yeh i still hold a sweet spot for some of the old shows i used to watch. saved by the bell, wonder years and some cartoons as well, its so depressing being 23 :(, i used to remeber wonder years being on at about 5 oclock weekly after i used to come home from school.

To tell you the truth i dont like to read books that are related to torture and pain. I read a few books on the haulocaust when i was younger and that was enough. Im more into books that inspire.

i read this book by John Kehoe called Mind power, i loved this book and i REALLY recommend it to anyone, i recommend it because everything in this book is correct, the reason why i say this is many of the things discussed in this book have been things i had thought about and tried before picking up the book, it was good to see from this book that there was proof out there that these kinds of mind techniques work.

Also just started to read Ian thorpe's biography which just came out, he's a legend and im intrested to know what he's really like.

I actually like the books that i was given when i was at highschool. Alot of them was about sports and sportsmen, some about difficulites in assimulation between imigrants who just came to australia and the local australian community.

in uni .. time is more flexible ... lots of friends.... challenging projects ... facilities (computer labs in my case) are OK, can join some societies .... when I was studying in uni .. I even joined an anime society .. so every week I would go and watch anime with friends ... for free .. :D:D:D

well .. my company does have a lot of accounts .. BCA ... HSBC .. Citibank ... Danamon ... hueue .. :D but it's company policy, that, we pay with cash.. cash here means: today you deliver the goods, tomorrow we transfer the money to you ;) of course we transfer the money .. the amount is too big to be handled with cash notes ..

I have been thru this business for about 4 years .. and now I see the logic inside it ... :
*) paying with cash, we get the best possible price ... normally, there is a 2 to 5% discount compared to credit purchase. If supplier is really in cash crunch, they would even discount 10% 8O

*) we dictate the terms .. a lot of the contract terms ... not that I am trying to be arrogant .. but I don't reply to companies with lousy delivery and low product quality ... in other words, I am very strict with suppliers .. some are upset with my heavy-handed ways, hey, but if one quits, there are three more suppliers willing to do business with me :D

*) during slow business seasons, downturn periods, we stand out ... because we owe suppliers no debts ... they keep calling us to help them sell products :D

That's the magic of cash ... ;) In fact, if you are one of our trusted suppliers, we would pay you in full a few days before you deliver the goods ;)

If you are a purchase manager in Walmart, it's even tougher for you and your supplier. You have to avoid getting entertained and treated for lunch in any situation .. and the negotiation of price happens in Walmart office .... so if you are a supplier, bad luck ... you would find that Walmart is so market-savvy .. they would only allow you to earn a small profit ... but .. they would buy big quantity from you ..

THe next time, if supplier goes to Walmart again, if his product does not sell well, Walmart would say: hey .. it's not selling well .. bye .. bye ... 8O very straightforward way of doing business .. ::hhh::

hehehe...me, the first chapter (from the HPSS) kinda make me bored...so i stopped reading it...later on, about 5 months or so, i started to read it again...but i skipped the first chapter...hehehe...then, i found it interesting, and re-read the first chapter...hehehe...so just like you, after that, i bought all the novels...fortunately at that time, all the four books already out..so i didnt have to wait for so long...;p ;p

ni weyz...talking about book...the first time i watched LotR, i got hooked with it...then i told my sist' to buy the novel...and yes, she bought the novel, but in english....ive tried to read it..but the more i read, the more confused i got...so i gave up..and nv try to read it again...hehehe....but still love the movies....hehehe...;p :D

but, imo, HP POA is the most artistic HarPot film...:D ;)

i think the movie was shortened so that they (WB) dont have to split the movie into two, just like GoF...my younger sist' doesnt read the books, but she loves HP movies, actually daniel radcliffenya...huhuhe...;D ;D
