What's goin' on all?
I'm back. Pas touchdown di Kansas City, kita berempat dijemput ama boil company. Trus di drop di hotel for freshing up. Rupanya Kita dikasih company car buat puter-puter kota pas weekend. Boleh pilih mulai dari green Toyota RAV-4, silver Accord V6 (Automatic, yuck!), White Acura RSX Type-S (6 speed), trus American cars such as Dodge, etc. Langsung gua mbat itu RSX Type-S! :D
Nah... pas malemnya, abis meeting, gua muter-muter di downtown. Ga sengaja ketemu tempat illegal street race. Nah ikutan iseng gua :D hhaahhahaah RSX Type-S ini beneran boil bagus. Tapi sayang, suspensionnya kurang segigit Type-R. Well, mungkin different class; but for sure kalo RSX Type-R masuk US bakalan gahar. Anyway, RSX Type-S ini beneran boil yg beda banget ama Integra Type-R gua dulu. Seatnya udah bucket and leather, interior lebih refine, Bose stereo system udah standard, 6 speed tranny, close gear, short tranny, etc. But, we are racer, so who needs those fancy goodies? :D Am I right boys?
Anywho... RSX Type-S beneran perlu VTEC controller. K20C i-VTEC engine from RSX Type-S ini beneran powerful. Midrange torque beneran plenty. Loe ga perlu launch di 4000RPM kaya di Integra Type-R gua dulu. Launch di +3000RPM udah cukup. However, the iVTEC doesn't engage until approx. 6000 RPM. Nah perlu VTEC Controller kan?
There are couple of problems with this car:
1. Tires are crappy as hell.
2. Bose Stereo zuck azz! Eventhough the stereo has subwoofer on the trunk, there was no bass at all! WTF is up with that?
Buat Stock, RSX Type-S vs. Integra GSR; RSX Type-S win hands down. As far as RSX Type-S vs. Integra Type-R (read: K20C vs. B18C5), Integra Type-R obviously! Tapi pas ntar RSX Type-S masuk US market (2003 approximately), RSX Type-R bakalan blow major doors! :D
Buat yg mo beli RSX Type-S, ini boil beneran bagus and ga rugi buat di beli. Either loe mo beli langsung RSX Type-S or tunggu Type-R, it's up to you. Harga sekitaran USD$25000 (bodykit, foglights included) blon termasuk tax, udah termasuk bagus.
Hal yg perlu di perhatiin kalo belio RSX Type-S:
1. Pasang VTEC Controller.
2. Pasang Shiftlight. K20C engine cepet banget reach redline'nya.
3. Mod the hell out RSX Type-S' suspension.
ahiiahihaiah gua lagi mikir aja, yg pake RSX Type-S'nya setelah gua kayanya bakalan musti masuk bengkel deh buat major service haiihaiai :D but, hey, that's company's car :D
