Episode 1

Jung Yu-Jin is a high school student in Chun Chong. One day, she falls asleep on the bus to school and is awaken abruptly by a new student of her school, Kang Joon-sang. Joon-Sang has just transferred to the high school where his mother once studied to find his real father. Due to his aloof attitude, Yu-Jin did not have a good impression of him at first but slowly she is attracted by this mysterious and lonely figure. Meanwhile, amongst Yu-Jin's close group of friends include the class prefect Kim Sang-Yong, who is a childhood friend of hers and likes her very much since they were kids. Despite Sang-Yong's effort to befriend Joon-Sang, the relationship seems to be strained by Joon-Sang's outright dislike of him. The reason for this attitude is due to Joon-Sangs suspicion that Sang-Yong's father is his real father. One night as Yu-Jin was returning home she was attacked by a drunken man, Joon-Sang who happens to be passing by saves her, and slowly the two gets to know more about each other. The next day, Yu-Jin tries to teach Joong Sang the piano but is impress to find that he could play the piano well, not realising that he is in fact the son of a well known pianist. While feeling angry and confuse about his father's real identity, Joon-Sang finds solace in Yu-Jin and is slowly attracted to her lively and kind personality. Later, they both play truant by leaving school for a park. Returning home later that evening, they find Sang-Yong waiting for Yu-Jin at her place as she has forgotten that it is her father's death. Sensing the change in their relationship, Sang-Yong becomes angry and worried.....

As Yu-Jin and Joon-Sang becomes closer, they start to attract the jealousy of Sang-Yong and Chae-Lin. Joon-Sang's unfriendly attitude further infuriates Sang-Yong. As his curioustity grows, Joon-Sang slowly approaches his real father to confirm the truth. Curious as to whether Joon-Sang is going out with Yu-Jin, Sang-Yong follows him and is shocked to see Joon-Sang visiting his father. The next day, he confronts Joon-Sang over the visit and has an argument in the audio room. Sang Yong accuses Joon-Sang of using Yu-Jin to get to him. Yu- Jin happens to overhear their conversation and gets upset with Jong-Sang. Later, the group of friends decide to spend the weekend at a mountain lodge. During the night, the two had another argument. Yu-Jin runs off in a fit of rage, and becomes lost and injured in the mountains. Their misunderstanding was resolved when Joon-Sang manages to find her. Returning back to the lodge, Joon-Sang explains to Yu Jin about the navigational star Polaris. Telling her that she can never get lost if she follows the stars. No matter where and when, the Polaris star will never move from its position and will always guide you home.Seeing them return together hand in hand, Sang-Yong and Chae-Lin are upset. Days later, during the first days of snow, Joong Sang and Yu Jin return to the Park where they went before. Returning to her home later that evening, Joon-Sang is shocked to find that Yu-Jin's father and not Sang-Yong's father could possibly be his real father. Devastated by the news, he chooses to leave Chung Chong. On his way to the airport, he leaves Yu-Jin waiting for him under the Xmas tree in the city. However, Joon-Sang could not bear to leave Yu-Jin waiting so he runs off to meet her. In his rush to get there, he gets into an accident and is hit by a truck.....

Returning to school the next day, Yu-Jin was about to question Joon-Sang about his absence when she heard of his accident. Sadden by his sudden departure, the group of friends gives him a farewell at the lake. All the friends except Yu-Jin cried. Worried about her reaction, Sang-Yong tells Yu-Jin to cry her sorrows out. Too shaken by the news, she is unable to cry, returning home she finds an audio tape present given to her by Joon-Sang. In the tape, he dedicates the song that he had played earlier to her. Only then did she break down and cry. Devastated that her first love had come and gone without a trace.


10 years later, Yu-Jin is now a successful interior designer with her own company named Polaris. She is also getting engaged to Sang-Yong. On her engagement night, by chance, she sees a man who looks exactlly like Joon-Sang. Confused and shocked, she tries to find the man, and ends up missing the engagement party and has everyone worried for her. When she finally arrives, she is emotionally distraught and faints at arrival. Upset by her emotional breakdown, Sang-Yong tries to be supportive but is upset when he finds out that she has not forgotten about Joon-Sang. After fruitlessly trying to find the man, she realises that the past is gone and she tries to let Joon-Sang go. However, when they go back to Chung Chong to celebrate their unfinished engagement, her high school classmate Chae Lin appears with the man that resembles Joon-Sang. All the friends were shocked when they saw the resemblance. Realising that this man is not Joon-Sang, she tries to put him behind her but is further shocked when she realise that the ski project that she has been working on from this man's company, Lee Min Yeong......

Representing Polaris on a pitch for a ski project. Yu-Jin arrives at the office of Marcian to present her proposal. However, she was shocked to find that Lee Min-Yeong is in charge of the project. In fact, Min-Yeong is a famous architect from the US. Seeing him close up for the first time, she is emotionally shaken by the exact resemblance to joon-Sang. Unable to control her emotions, she cries in front of him and excuses herself abruptly from the meeting.

Min-Yeong was also schocked by her reaction but in turns becomes curious about the beautiful, intelligent but intriging lady who cried looking at him. Knowing that she will not be able to hold her emotions, she tries to excuse herself from the project. Upset by the her exclusion, he insist that she is involved before giving the project to Polaris. Force by the curcumstances, she tries to distance herself from him whenever possible. However, she has no choice but to go with him on a site inspection when her colleague pulled out. Amuse by her distant behaviour towards him, he tries to tease her. Although she tries to stay away from him, she cannot help but see Joon-Sang in him. Curious about her, he ask what sort of home she would like after she is married. Her answer came as a surprise to him when she said she has never thought about it as she feels that a physical home is not important as home is where the heart is. Later, when she was about to explain to him about his resmblance to Joon-Sang, Chae-Lin appears before she had the chance. Returning to Seoul that evening, she did not tell Sang-Yong that her project partner is Min-Yeong but he realises that she had lied about where she was that day. Afraid of Yu-Jin and Min Yeong's working relationship, Chae-Lin starts to plot on making sure that the two do not fall for each other..

Realising that Yu-Jin and Min-Yeong will be working togather, Chae-Lin starts to plot to create a misunderstanding. To be close to Yu-Jin, she hires their friend Ching-Suk as her assistant. Meanwhile, Yu-Jin is worried that Sang-Yong will not accept the working relationship but is comforted when he says that he fully supports him.

Meanwhile, Chae-Lin starts to tell Min-Yeong that Yu-Jin is not what she seems. She is flirtatious, and will use certain tricks to get her man and that Yu-Jin is interested in him. Refusing to believe at first, his mind changed when he sees the photographs that Yu-Jin took of him. To add to the misunderstanding, Chae Lin tells Min-Yeong that Yu-Jin told her that the dress that he picked was not nice and yet she gives Ching-Suk the dress to give to Yu-Jin. Yu-Jin appears at the function with the dress and Min-Yeong gets upset as it embarasses Chae-Lin. He starts to be sarcastic to her but Yu-Jin is confused about the situation. Sang-Yong who sees her at the function is upset that she would get all dressed up for Min-Yeong.

Days later. the Polaris partners go off for a drink before moving onsite to the ski resoret to start work. At the drink, Yu-Jin is asked who was her first love but beforeshe could answer, they were interrupted by Min-Yeong and his colleague who happened to be there. Together, they play the truth game and Yu-Jin slowly gets drunk and starts to look at Min-Yeong with sadness. Upset by her, he tries to send her home but she was too drunk to tell him so he took her back to his hotel room. There, she mistakes him for Joon-Sang. Thinking that she was taking advantage of the situation he plays along with her only to insult her at the end. Upset by him, she then runs out of the room...

Upset by the previous nights incident, Min-Yeong is confuse as he thinks that hse was faking drunkness and yet she really looked hurt when she left the room. He gets more upset when she arrive late for the morning meeting. After the meeting, hoping to clear the air, he adds to the misunderstanding when he said that he was not sure if she was really drunk. Furious that he thought she was faking drunkness to seduce him, Yu-Jin tells Min-Yeong that they should stay out of each other's way outside work.

Arriving at the ski resort, Yu-Jin does her nest to keep out of Min-Yeong's way. Later, he plays tarrot card reading with her colleague and was told that his fate in love lies in a woman who holds the card of Wheel & Fortune. At the end of thereading, he jokingly tells her that he would like to get into Yu-Jin's list of conquest but is heavily berated by the colleague. Taken back by the comments, he is confuse by what he see and what he knows.

later, in the evening as they take the pre-work dinner with the renovation staff, he finds that she cannot drink and gets drunk easily. Guilty about the accusation the day before, he tries to apologies to her but is interrupted by Chae-Lin. Chae-Lin confronts Yu-Jin about the night at Min-Yeong's hotel as she realises that Yu-Jin was in the room when found her notebook there. Later, she goes off to Min-Yeong to pretend that Yu-Jin had use the night's incident to hurt her. Upset by the situation, Min-yeong tells Yu-Jin that he does not like her at all and for her to stop bothering him. Confused and hurt, she is further angered when she finds that one of the workers had been sacked for drinking on the job. Pleaing on the worker's behalf, she tells him that he had been drinking the night before in memory of the dead wife. Sarcastically, he replies that the best present to a dead person is to forget them. Hurt by his comment, she resigns in a fit of anger as she tells him that he has never really love a person before. Stunned by her reaction, he reinstates the worker the next day and goes off to Seoul to look for Chae-Lin. There, he accidentally overhears the lies that Chae Lin has been telling. From Ching-Suk, he realises that he has been wrong in misunderstanding Yu-Jin.

Rushing back to the Ski resort, he tries to apologise to Yu-Jin but finds Sang Yong in her room. Upset by seeing them together, he tries to be cold towards her the next day when she comes by to say thank you for the worker.. Puzzled by his reaction, Yu-Jin leaves to meet Sang Yong but on her way, she drops the Wheel & Fortune card given to her by her colleague who told her that the man in the card holds her destiny. Picking up the card, a pile of wood falls. Yu-Jin pushes him out of the way but is hurt ythe falling wood herself.

Shocked by the accident, Sang Yong gets angry with Min-Yeong but is even more upset when he finds that she was hurt from saving Min-Yeong. He gets even angrier when the first question she asked when she regained consciousness was if he was hurt. Min-Yeong realises through the accident that he cares for Yu-Jin but is helpless as he is not in the position to care. Upset by the whole incident, Min-Yeong tells Chae-Lin that they should part for the time being. At the hospital, Sang-Yong tells Yu-Jin that she did it for Kang Joon-Sang and he is upset by it. Feeling helpless, she asked him to tell her what he wants her to do as she cannot rid the memories of Joon Sang from her heart even if she wanted too. Unable to accept the situation, Sang-Yong leaves for Seoul alone. Recovering days later, Min-Yeong appears at the hospital to pick her up. Stopping at the park, he apolgises oto her about the misunderstanding. Not knowing what the understanding is, she tells him that there is no need to forgive if he no longer misunderstood her. Clearing the air, they try to start off again this time on the right note.

Meanwhile, back at the ski resort, they both become closer and their colleagues noticed the change and MinYeong becomes restless about his feelings for her. One day, as they were walking, he asked her why she likes Sang-Yong. He laughs at her answer as she names a long list of reason why she loves him as he tells her that when you love someone there is no reason to explain why. When he asked why she loves Joon-Sang, she reacts differently and is says that she has no good memory of him. Though she tells it cheerfully, he realises that he she is sad. Moments later, her colleague rushes to tell her that her monther is ill. Rushing off, Min-Yeong gives her a lift. After, the visit, he takes her to the lake that she once went with Joon-Sang. Afraid to go to the Park with him, she tries to change the venue, Walking along, she cannot help but cry at the memories of the times she had with Joon Sang. Sensing her sadness, he tries to tell her to let go off the past. The park is full of beauty but yet all she sees is sadness. It is she who is refusing to let the memories go and open her heart. Returning to the hotel, they both sense a change in their relationship.

The next day, they both go off to the moutain lodge to do site inspection. Trap by the strong wind, they are force to spend the night there. Since the visit to the lake, she feels uneasy about being alone with him. Meanwhile, Sang-Yong and their friends are worried about them as they came to visit her. At the lodge, Min-Yeong falls asleep. Yu-Jin tries to ake off his glasses to see the resemblance. Waking up, he get upset with her about remembering Joon-Sang, He tells her angrily to let the dead go and asked if Joon-Sang is still alive, would he still love her. Angry at him, she tells him that it is none of his business. Finally, he tells her that he wants to care cause he loves her. Shocked by his declaration of love. She runs out of the building.

Shocked by Min-Yeong's declaration of love, she runs from the building. Worried about her, he tries to look for her but later finds her safe in back in the building. The next morning, she wakes up and find that he is not around. Walking outside, she runs into him. Confronting him about last night, she tells her that she does not love him and no one can ever replace Joon-Sang. Angry by her response, he asked who does she really love then ? And what about Sang-Yong ? Sang Yong appears and is angry with what he had just overheard. However, when pressed again, she could not answer Sang-Yong's question. At the same time, Chae Lin who came up the mountain with Sang-Yong also overheard the conversation.

Back in the hotel, Sang-Yong packs Yu-Jin's bag and forcibly tries to make her leave for Seoul. She refuses and he gets angry. He is angry that he did not tell Min-Yeong that she loves him when he asked. Chae Lin also confronts Min-Yeong, but he coldly tells her that it's over and that he loves Yu-Jin. Angry with the situation, Yu-Jin tells Min-Yeong that she loves Sang Yong. Yu-Jin tries to contact Sang-Yong to apologise but to no avail. That evening, Min-Yeong tells Yu-Jin that he does not regret telling her that he loves her but apologises for he did not realise that it would cause pain to both her and Sang-Yong. He does not want to hurt her any more and would like her to be able to look at him again without any negative feelings.

The next day, she tries to apologise to Sang-Yong but he refuses to forgive her. Having promise to return from Seoul with a happy face, she puts up a brave front when she meets Min-Yeong but he can see that she is sad and things did not work out. Later, Min-Yeong takes Yu-Jin out to the snowfield to cry. She gets even more upset that he understands her feelings and it throws her into confusion and sadness about the traingle relationship. Meanwhile, Chae Lin tries to take revenge by telling Sang-Yong's mom that Yu-Jin has snatched her boyfriend.

A few day's later, he was about to give her a lift into Seoul when Sang-Yong suddenly appears to fetch her. Crossing path at the lift's, Yu-Jin is worried as she looks at Min-yeong's reaction. In Seoul, Sang-Yong's mother reacts coldly towards Yu-Jin after what Chae-Lin had told her. Upset by his mother, Sang-Yong runs out of the house taking Yu-Jin forcibly with him. Outside, he questions her feeling for Min-Yeong as he is upset that he has to learn about rumours about them through others. Forcing her to reveal her feelings, he asked if she loves Min-Yeong and she did not answer. He gets angry as he knows that she does not know how to lie and in not answering she is admitting her feelings. Meanhwhile, Min-Yeong reveals to his colleague that despite putting up a calm face he is upset to see Sang-Yong hold her hand and take her away.

Angry with the silent admition, Sang-Yong takes Yu-Jin to hotel and tells her that he does not want to go home. Although he did not intend to do anything, Yu-Jin is uncomfortable with the situation. Later, when her phone rang, Sang-Yong picks it up and is angry when he realises that it is Min-Yeong. He then tries to tell him that he is with him and will not be returning to Seoul. Overhearing the remark, Yu-Jin angrily shouts at Sang-Yong. Angered by her reaction, he tries to rape her but she manages to run away. Sang-Yong tried to runs after her to apologise but to no avail. Having ran from the hotel emotionally shaken, she does not know where she has run away to. Worried about the reaction over the phone, Min-Yeong calls her again on the phone. Hearing his voice, she starts to cry. Hearing her cries, he rushes to her side. Unable to hold his feeling anymore, he hugs the sad and crying Yu-Jin.

Returning to the hotel, she realises that things may get more confusing, she tries to avoid Min-Yeong. The next day, he hears that she was not herself that day, finding her sitting outside in the cold, he tries to cheer her up. Taking a walk, he forcibly holds her hand and tells her that she must choose which road to take. The next day, she sees Sang-Yong who tries to apologise to her. However, she tells him that she does not want to continue the relationship anymore. Unable to accept her decision, he walks away from her. Returning to the resort, she tells Min-Yeong that she likes him but she cannot follow him. When she is with him, she will think of Sang-Yong and vice versa. Like Sang-Yong, he refuses to accept the decision as she is running away from making a decision rather than make one.

Realising the change in her attitude, Sang-Yong tries to force the situation by planning a surprise announcement at an event at the resort. Arriving early to prepare the event, he pretends that nothing has changed and warns Min-Yeong over taking Yu-Jin away. Torn between the two man, Yu-Jin is hurt by having to see the other in pain if she chooses one of them.

To enforce his plan, Sang-Yong invites his parents, her mother and all their friends to the event. At the resort, Sang-Yong's mother sees Yu-Jin putting on the scarf for Min-Yeong and is mistaken by what she saw. At the event, Sang-Yong's colleague announces that they will be getting married soon to the surprise of both Yu-Jin and their family and friends. Hearingthe news, Min-yeong walks away dejectly from the event as he thinks that hse has made the decision as to which road she will take. Looking at his back when he was walking out, Yu-Jin feels sad and worried at Min-Yeong. Later, back at the rest area, Sang-Yong's mother loudly protest at the wedding announcement. She accuses Yu-Jin of not loving her son and is in fact seeing another man. Hurt by her reaction, Sang Yong screams at his mother and gets even angrier when Min-Yeong appears. Trying to diffuse the situation, he explains that there is nothing between him and Yu-Jin as he does not want her to get hurt. Unable to stand teh sight of Min-Yeong, he tells him to get out of the place. meanwhile, Yu-Jin who has been quiet all these while gets up and interrupts the commotion. Apologising to her, she tells them she cannot marry Sang-Yong and she runs from the scene. Min-yeong runs after her. Hurt by the situation, Sang-Yong tells his mother that he will never forgive her if Yu-Jin is hurt and runs out after her too. Caught by Min-Yeong after running out, he tells her that he no longer wants to let her go. Finally coming to terms with her own feelings, she succumbs to him and agrees to listen to him. Wanting to console her, he takes her away from the resort. Running after them, Sang-Yong is terrified when he sees them leave together. Returning to the resort, he lies to everyone that she has returned to Seoul and that they must get married.

Reaching his family's villa, they were shocked to find that his mother had returned from the US. Upset to see that he has taken a girl to the family villa instead of working, she berets him. However, she stumbles when she realised that Yu-Jin was from Chun Chong and hurriedly leaves the place. Having been left alone, Min-Yeong tries to confort Yu-Jin about the circumstances. Sitting under the stars, she tells him about the Polaris star. Something that Joon-Sang told her years ago. Sensing her emotions, he asked if she is lost, if so, he would be the Polaris to her. He would always be there when she needs him.

The next morning, she wakes to find that he had prepared breakfast for her and he was not in the house. Sensing the calm before the storm , she refuses to listen to her phone. Returning from outside, Min-yeong had bought food to make a meal for her. However, due to his poor skills, she ends up cooking the meal for him. Realising that she has to face thsituation, she returns to Seoul when she realise that her mother had returned to Seoul to wait for her. Her mother had found out that Sang-Yong had lied to protect Yu-Jin and it was true that she had fallen for another man. With encouragement, she returns to Seoul with a promise that she wil return to the resort. Confronting her mother, she tells her that she does not love Sang-Yong and her mother refuses to forgive her. Later, Sang-Yong arrives and she tells him that she loves Min-Yeong.

Meanwhile, on his way back to teh resort, Min-yeong pays his mother a visit. talking about Yu-Jin, she was schocked when she hears that Yu-Jin knows someone who looked exactly like him. Returing to the resort the next day, Yu-Jin is still upset over having hurt everyone in choosing this path but is adamant that she has chosen the path in her heart. Seeing her return, Min-yeong happily runs after her to give her a present. A necklace in the form of the Polaris constellations.
Having happily engross in their new found happiness. Yu-Jin is brought back into sadness when she is told that Sang-Yong is sick after they broke up. Knowing that she will be too weak to refuse him if she sees him in that state, she refuses to see him. Seeing her in agony over Sang-Yong, Min-Yeong takes her to the hospital. There, she refuses to see Sang-Yong but he encourages her to take the right path but if she ever wants to come back, he will always be there. Unwillingly, she goes to see Sang Yong. Upset that she had visited but had not change her mind, Sang-Yong plucks off his medical support and puts himself indanger, Unable to see him in this state, she chooses to stay with him. The next few days, she packs up her staff and leaves the resort knowing that since she has made the decision she can no longer stay and work on the project. before she leaves, she sees Min Yeong and tells him about how she feels. She does not feel sorry about the decision and he has taken teh most important thing from her and that is her heart. Before she leaves, she tells him that she loves him for the first time.

gua udah nonton sampe episode 18, tinggal 2 lagi, tapi gua expect more deh dari WLS, kayaknya ceritanya agak2 slow gitu deh, scenery-nya sih bagus pas winter gitu, tapi kok ceritanya krg mengigit yah? ada misterinya sih, predictable pas deket endingnya =) cuman kayak ada yg kurang ngak kayak hotelier

gua ngak suka si Youchen pas depan2nya di portray cewe yg alive, spunky etc, eh pas udah kehilangan joonsang, nangis melulu............ampe episode 18, pasrah gitu,.....akrhinya lama2 gua nontonnya juga ngak sabaran, cuman liat BYJ aja (dengan rambut kuningnya itu )

jangan bandingkan WLS dengan Hotelier dong. WLS kan lebih ke melodrama (sedih) sedangkan Hotelier kan lebih ke intrik.
menurut gue, WLS tertolong ama pemaen, scene dan lagunya yang bagus bagus. dari sisi cerita emang biasa biasa aja. malah terkesan draggy (slow).

yoi gua nonton kareja ada BYJ, terus scenery, ama lagunya enak2, cerita emang super slow...gua tampaknya kurang cocok nonton filem yg melon banget! eh endless love mirip ini ngak sih, punya di rumah cuman belom gua tonton, kurang minat ama filem yg terlalu buhuhuhu gitu

Buat yg ngak suka tema2 EL sama WLS berarti ngak suka sama directornya. Soalnya untuk beberapa tahun mendatang ini directornya berencana membuat drama yg berhubungan sama MUSIM.
